In April 1934, a baby was born: Donald James Adams.Donald was a war child, but neither him nor his brothers and sisters got evacuated. He liked to go looking in the wreckage to find bomb shells with his brothers. Donald was a very loved member of the family. Don was a very helpful member to the community and took part in Filey Town Council meetings. Don was also a football fan and regularly went to Charlton Athletic football matches. He was also a regular spectator at the Filey Town matches. He was a loved member of the community.
